MajorClarity is a career exploration platform that links academic learning to post-secondary preparation through a highly personalized, student-driven approach to career planning that reflects the unique strengths, abilities, interests, and long-term goals of each child. Interactive career path test-drives mix engaging expert field interviews with realistic workplace scenarios and practice activities that spark student interest and deepen their understanding of career pathways, job growth projections, and employment trends. MajorClarity offers a wide range of productivity, research, and academic and career planning tools to keep students organized and invested while strengthening communications between students, parents, educators, and district stakeholders.
How Does It Work?
MajorClarity provides Cumberland County middle and high school students with the opportunity to interact with career path "test-drives." Each career path contains a test drive that mixes engaging expert field interviews with realistic workplace scenarios and practice activities that spark student interest and deepen their understanding of career pathways, job growth projections, and trends in employment.

Parent/Guardian Need to Know
North Carolina Legislation requires that ALL middle and high school students complete Career Development Plans (CDPs).
In 8th grade, a CDP must be on record and filed in order for the student to be promoted.
In 10th grade, the student shall not be promoted until the CDP has been revised.
Parent(s)/guardian(s), you can get access to see your student's career interests and support their academic plans by going to app.paper.co/majorclarity. Log in with your student's Google Credentials.
